When choosing a destination in Italy for your wedding abroad it can be a little overwhelming and somewhat daunting even. When thinking and searching on Google for locations a few will crop up such as Rome, Sorrento, Amalfi, Lake Garda and Venice are the popular ones. Popular can also mean busy, there is a particular place in Sorrento that have up to six weddings…per day!
Let me introduce to you Castellabate, a beautiful quiet location in the Cilento area and about two hours from Naples airport. It has that rustic Italian charm, crystal clear blue flag beaches, breathtaking views with killer sunsets (you can actually see Capri on a clear day), and charming old alleyways. Not only would your wedding be quite some special but it make an amazing honeymoon too as there is so much to see and do in the area.
I work closely with a local wedding planner called Michelle who is excellent and very knowledgeable and knows all the very best wedding suppliers for the area and has been helping couples plan weddings all over Italy for the past twenty five years.
