Your Day

I’m Jason Rodgers and I am a Destination Wedding photographer . I always feel genuinely happy to document somebody’s wedding, to capture every happy tear and emotion from that day. If I can capture an image that has been overlooked or even completely missed then that makes me happy. My heart lies in documenting your Destination Wedding, I don’t want to be that photographer that runs around dictating to you where you should be standing, it’s your day and for the best part of it I’d like to go unnoticed.

Philosophy

My photography focuses on telling the story of the joy, love, emotion and energy on your wedding day. I want it to tell the story of how you celebrate with each other. That each and every photo from your day is an important part of the legacy and record of your wedding.
I want you you to not just remember your photos, but to cherish them, look at them, show your family and hand them down to your children. I also want you to remember me of course.

“By booking me as your Destination Wedding Photographer I will not just strive to meet your expectations I will go over and beyond to exceed them.”

From start to finish…and more

It doesn’t just start on your wedding day, it starts from now, from this very second you’re reading this, wondering if I’m the photographer for you, you’ll go on to look at my work and then start to wonder about prices. Then we will either meet over a coffee or skype and discuss things further before you actually go ahead and book. I’m with you from bridal preps to your first dance, plus the following day at sunset. But it doesn’t end there, we confirm how you’d like your wedding album and if you’d like anything else. In fact you can contact me years down the line, I’ll still have your photos, and I’ll still remember you.

Where in the world? And why take me?

Whether it’s an exotic wedding on a white sandy beach in the Caribbean, gorgeous mountains and beautiful gardens or a romantic city there will be beauty in it and I will capture that beauty within those surroundings. There are of course pros and cons with taking a photographer with you to your destination wedding. Here are a few to help you decide.
Pros I am a native English speaker and like in the UK. Many hotel supplied photographers abroad speak very little or no English causing frustration on both sides. Time, I am with you before your wedding the day before to go through the timeline of your wedding, I am with you from bridal preps to first dance on your wedding day and I am with you at sunset the following day for portraits if needed and I am at the end of a phone when you are back in the UK should there be any worries. Trust, I am trustworthy and experienced and have reviews and raves to back that up. I fully insured and used to travel.
Cons I am a little more expensive to cover my flights and accommodation, but I’m pretty sure the pros outweigh the cons on that.
As a Destination wedding photographer, I love discovering new places and new venues. I have lot’s of wedding planner and supplier friends in lot’s of different countries so if you need any advice all you need do is ask
